Max Brenner is a chocolate chain with stores located in Israel, the United States, Australia, the Philippines and Singapore. The stores have a layout similar to regular cafes, but specialise in chocolate drinks and desserts. The menu differs slightly from store to store. Commonly found sweets include fondues, waffles, and cookies.
The chain has been criticized in Australia for charging an extra 10% on Saturdays and Sundays, which is an uncommon practice for stores of its type. There has also been criticism from health sector over the slogan "Chocolate By The Bald Man", which sends a conflicting message to its majority of younger customers.
