Max & Erma's (NASDAQ: MAXE) is a casual dining restaurant chain based in Columbus, Ohio. It operates throughout parts of the Eastern and Midwestern United States, and was founded by Max and Erma Visocnik. Additionally, every restaurant has a converted bathtub that serves as a sundae bar.
On April 28, 2008, it was announced that Max & Erma's will be purchased by Pittsburgh-based equity investor G&R Acquisition Inc. in a $10.2 million deal[1].
