Mavara is an Iranian progressive rock band based in Karaj.
Band was formed by singer Farhood Ghadiri and also an electric guitarist Shayan Kafshi in autumn 2001.
Current members are Farhood Ghadiri (keyboard), Ashkan Hamidi (vocals), Sina Khodaeefa (bass guitar), and Ehsan Fallahi (guitar).
In 2007 they released their debut album The Ultimate Sound. The album wasn't released inside Iran because they could not get the Ershad's permission, instead it has been released underground.
