it seems that there are two contradictory stats on this page: one says he has scored 2 goals in 19 caps, the other says 1 goal in 23 caps. which, if any, is the right one? Chensiyuan 15:36, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I want to know where Mauro Camoranesi will go next year?

.... He is staying in Juventus..Im pretty sure he is..unless he gets a better offer...which i hope he doesnt cuase he is my fav player...I love you Camoranesi <333...~Linda~ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.71.143.253 (talkcontribs) 15:39, 4 August 2006 (UTC.

Camoranesi also is my favorite player. Several news reports indicated that he will go to other club and made me confused. Anyway, I hope he will lead a better career life. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gaze (talkcontribs) 05:43, 15 August 2006 (UTC.

I added this to the article;

Despite his agent; Sergio Fortunato linking the player to clubs such as Lyon, Valencia and Liverpool over the summer, following Juve's relegation. Camoranesi made an announcement himself in September 2006, pledging loyalty to Juventus: "In January I will not ask to be sold, I'm happy to stay here,"[1] he stated.

It seems to be his agent talking up a move, while Camo himself has stated he is happy at the club and wants to stay there. I think Camoranesi's word on his own future is more reliable. - Deathrocker 07:20, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

I deleted this paragraph: "But now he is unhappy with life in Serie B and says he wants to play in the champions league with an other team because Juventus cant not play in any European cup this season or the next because of the match fixing scandal in 2006 and Juventus being knocked out of the Coppa Italia by Serie B side Napoli on a Penalty shoot out after the to sides drew 3-3 in normal time and Extra time." because it's very unencyclopediadic and there's no proof of him being unhappy.

[edit] Irrelevant

I'm removing this line..

  • "Italy's new coach, Roberto Donadoni, however, hasn't called up Camoranesi for the national team, preferring Marco Marchionni and Franco Semioli instead.".

That line sounds like Camoranesi has fallen out of favour, but infact the latest squad which has been named (and hasnt played yet) is just for a Euro qualifiyer.. several other high-key plays have been rested to give younger players a run out; Toni, Nesta, Del Piero, Totti, etc.. have also been rested. Its not of enough importance to be included unless the new coach doesn't select the player over a longer period of time. - Deathrocker 01:25, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for the new introduction of Camoranesi, should we add some biography besides his football career , such like his family ?

He playe for Azzurri again !
