"They are divided into two groups in Mauritius: the first are known simply as Creoles (peoples of pure African/Malagasy origin) and the second known as Creole-Mazambe (lighter-skinned Mulattos)." please..since when would lighter skinned creoles be called mazambiq?? mozambique people never have been known for their lightness...so you should say milat.. and it's the ti creoles who are the black Afro-Malagasy descended Mauritians or nasyon..get your facts right! to bizin kon sa si to morisyen...oki?Domsta333 11:54, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mauritian rastafaris

I met some once, they were great, we usually have a bad image of rastafaris but I feel it's the person who do bad things! None of the Christian churches offer Creoles a connection to something African...rastafarianism is pseudo-african but it gave them pride in their heritage and spirituality. I never forget the traditional religions of my Mauritian slave ancestors, they suffered for their beliefs and I honour them eternally!Domsta333 (talk) 12:45, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
