Both references contradict each other. I believe Abraham Fornander's is more reliable as this Genealogy of Maui was written by someone who loves to use western royal titles over and over again. KAVEBEAR (talk) 23:34, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

It is said in the Genealogy of Maui that Prince Haho was King of Hawaii and uncle of Mauiloa. But Haho was Mauiloa's great-grandfather and there was never a Haho in the line of Hawaii Island chieftains.
