Mauvaise Graine (1934) is a film directed by Billy Wilder. It is set in 1930's Paris where Henri Pasquier (Pierre Mingand)is given money and a car by his father, Dr. Pasquier (Paul Escoffier). Henri's father decides to cut him off and sell the car to get Henri to find a job. Instead, Henri joins a gang of car thieves and falls in love with the leader, Jeannette (Danielle Darrieux). However, the boss betrays them and the two lovers move to Casablanca.
