The Dutch name Maurits (or Maurice in English) is used to indicate the following:
- Prince Maurits of Orange-Nassau, van Vollenhoven (1968-)
- Prince Maurice of Nassau, (1567-1625) was the son of William I of Orange
- Count John Maurice of Nassau, (1604-79) also known as 'the Brazilian'
- the Mauritshuis, a museum in The Hague, which was built by John Maurice of Nassau
