Mauricio Zeilic

Mauricio Zeilic (born circa 1950) is a Cuban show business reporter. Zeilic works for Telemundo in the United States.

A papparatzi for more than a decade, Zeilic is now one of the five show hosts of Cotorreando, a show dedicated to talking about the lives of movie and music stars. Despite confessing on camera that he feels panic when flying, he nevertheless travels frequently to such places as New York, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Zeilic began at Cotorreando together with Graciela Mori, but Mori left the show amid rumors of internal problems between her and some of her co-workers.

Zeilic was a long-time friend of Celia Cruz, and he always made it a point to greet her during each of the Cotorreando shows. When she died in July of 2003, Zeilic was deeply affected.

Zeilic has earned various awards during his career as a reporter. He has appeared together with some of his co-hosts in commercials for Sears and Motorola.

On september 28, 2007 Telemundo cancelled "Cotorreando".
