Maurice Nadeau

Maurice Nadeau (born in 1911 in Paris) is a French writer and editor. Perhaps his best known book, translated into several languages, is the classic [1] Histoire du surréalisme (The History of Surrealism), published in French in 1944 and in English 21 years later, translated by Richard Howard.
