Maurice ("Moss") Lane Marshall MBE(born 12 January 1927) was a New Zealand athlete born in Thames, New Zealand.
At the 1950 British Empire Games he won a bronze medal in the mile run and then participated in the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland in both the 1500m and the 800m. After retiring from athletics Marshall returned to school teaching and went on to become headmaster of Southwell School in Hamilton, New Zealand for 16 years. He was honored by having a street named after him in Hamilton.
