Maureen May

Maureen May (b. 1954 in Waukegan, Illinois) is an American artist living in Durango, Colorado. May is best known for the use of color in her oil and pastel paintings, as well as the use of line in her drawings and hand-pulled prints. Her work is in public and private collections in North America and Europe.

May studied painting and drawing at American Academy of Art in Chicago, Illinois under Eugene Hall. She studied printmaking under Dan Ziembo at College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois.
