Maureen Holloway

Maureen Holloway is a Canadian radio personality, entertainer and comedian.

She is best known for her celebrity gossip on The Last Word. Broadcast live every morning in consecutive segments from coast-to-coast, the popular segment features Holloway with hosts of some of the country’s biggest morning shows. These include;

She also hosts the mid-morning radio show on Montreal's CFQR-FM (Q92) from 9:00 A.M. to noon weekdays from her home studio in Toronto. In addition, she writes a weekday blog, featured on these radio stations' web sites, called More Mo. The blog is a whimsical look at events that happen to her in her daily life, with an emphasis on humour and exaggeration. Holloway has had a twenty-year career in radio, starting out as a traffic reporter for Mix FM in Toronto. She has also had forays into television: hosting the Genie nominated The Dish Show on The Comedy Network, reviewing video releases for Flick on the Life Network, and providing gossip segments to Canada AM and eNow.

In 2006, she won the Canadian Association of Broadcaster's Gold Ribbon Award for Humour.

Holloway is completing a Master's degree in Culture and Communication at Ryerson University. She is the sister of political activist and entrepreneur Kate Holloway.

Holloway frequently speaks openly and positively about being diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer in 2005 but after completing treatments is now cancer free

Although heard across the country, she has been quoted as saying that after Wheeler and Hal's show on Power 97, her favorite time of the day is her time with Terry and Patty on Q-107 in Calgary.
