Maureen Hicks

Maureen Patricia Hicks, née Cutler, (born 23 February 1948) was the Conservative Member of Parliament for Wolverhampton North East.
Hicks was educated at Furzedown College of Education. She served as a councillor on Stratford upon Avon District Council 1979-84.
Against the national trend, Hicks gained the Wolverhampton seat from Labour in the 1987 general election but lost it in the 1992 general election to Labour's Kenneth Purchase.
