Maureen Harper is a fictional character on the American soap opera General Hospital, played by Christie Lynn Smith since the character's introduction in June 2007.[1]
[edit] Character history
Within the show's universe, Maureen is a guest star on Sam McCall's (fictional) show "Everyday Heroes." She is brought in to talk about her experience with the loss of her own baby daughter in a fire. She also has a 3-year-old son. She kidnaps Lucky and Elizabeth's infant son Jake, but is seen kidnapping the baby by Sam, the girlfriend of Jason Morgan, the baby's real father.[2]
Jason and Amelia Joffe found Jake and brought him back to Liz and Lucky. Jason decided not to press charges since he feels Maureen has suffered enough. Instead, he asked Amelia to help Maureen get the psychological help she needed.
