Maud Green (c. 1493–1 December 1531) She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Green and Joan Fogge. She was lady-in-waiting to the first wife of Henry VIII the Spanish princess Catherine of Aragon. It is said that she named her daughter Catherine after her.
She married Sir Thomas Parr, son of Sir William Parr and Elizabeth FitzHugh, c. 1508. She died on 1 December 1531. From c.1508, her married name became Parr. The Parrs lived mostly at Kendal Castle in the Lake District.
They had 3 children:
- Anne Parr (? - c. 1551/2) She married William Herbert 1st Earl of Pembroke and had one son
- William Parr, 1st Marquess of Northampton (c.1512–28 October 1571) He married three times: Anne Bourchier, Elisabeth Brooke and Helena Snakenborg
- Catherine Parr (c.1512/5–5 Spetember 1548) who arried four times, to: Edward Borough, John Nevill,Henry VIII of England and Thomas Seymour.
