The Municipality of Mauban (Filipino: Bayan ng Mauban) is a first class municipality in the province of Quezon, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 50,134 people in 10,336 households. In 2000, a coal power plant was opened to bring consistent power to the area. This coal power plant's name is Quezon Power Plant that is named also as Covanta Energy Philippines.
