[edit] Rauschpfeiffe

Hi Mattmm! Thanks for the note. It's a good start on the article (and I wish I had a picture to add). I added one paragraph about the use of the term as a generic designation for woodwind instruments. Good to meet another early music fan. Best wishes, Antandrus (talk) 04:21, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: 1 Corinthians 13

Regarding your comment on my user page:

Thanks for the note. I am not sure what can really be done about that, since charity as a virtue does have application and use outside of that chapter. A redirect might work, but the text does have immediate value in the article on charity for those who want that information at a particular place. Also, the text is quoted to show what charity is, so it has application to the topic, while the entry on the chapter is more of a commentary on the text itself. Tricky...

I do see that charity (virtue) and agape have two separate entries, and further that "brotherly love" also redirects to agape, which is not accurate. Another Greek word, philadelphia, (like the city) is used for brotherly love in the Biblical manuscripts. Maybe we should do some cleaning up there also :) Let me know if you have any ideas, and we can work on them. Zahakiel 20:53, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Zahakiel, my reply is on your talk page Mattmm 11:33, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Regarding your follow up:
It appears, from the discussion generated so far on your post to the Agape talk page, that consensus would be against us for removing that information or merging the articles. I'll continue to keep track of the discussion, and I'm definitely willing to help with any cleanup that results from it. I will let you know before I make any changes. Thanks, Zahakiel 19:17, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
