[edit] Bartercard
Raiders? Rangers? The only report i have on the Canterbury/Waitakere game is the press release from the NZRL which is normally quite accurate. I really like what you're doing with the Bartercard Cup. I'm happy to help out where i can. --IanRitchie 09:38, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Solomon's League team
Sorry about that. My mistake. There is someone who keeps adding silly teams (Cayman Islands, Nepal, that sort of thing) and I have been accidentally removing Solomons with that. Mea culpa!

[edit] WikiProject Rugby League
Hi Mattlore. I've noticed you've made an edit or two under New Zealand Warriors, and I would like to extend an invitation for you to join WikiProject Rugby league if you'd like to. Basically what we do is organise rugby league articles in general, including standards for templates, styles and other entries, and in the future collaborating articles in order to get them to featured article status. There are no prerequisites for joining, and you don't even have to actively participate if you don't want to. But if you would like to join, just add your name to the list of participants and that's it. If you have any further questions just let me know on my talk page. Cheers, --mdmanser 04:13, 5 October 2006 (UTC) .
[edit] Question Time/Question Period
You've flagged the article Question Time as being suggested for a merge with Question Period. Could you put some rationale for this on the article's talk page? Thanks -- Jammycakes 07:34, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Democratic Coalition
Really good stuff on that article, man. I'd never thought anyone would actually put everything up on the page. Moore really comes across as a total sop in Laws' book, which I suspect was very much the reality of the situation. Cheers, 125.238.76.78 05:39, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tony Martin
I remember the Tony Martin story now - i remember thinking it was only a rumour though. I guess his flag should be changed, but considering Nathan Fien has actually represented Queensland (and technically isn't a Kiwi yet), he should be under dual flags.
Updated, apparently on the news last night Tony Martin declared himself ineligible for the Kiwis. Just letting you know
[edit] Irish rugby league team
Do the Irish rugby league team use the 4 Provinces flag? If so, could you please change the ST Patrick's Saltire on Rugby League World Cup to the proper flag? Many thanks. Jess Cully 09:44, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:Auckland Lions.gif
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Auckland Lions.gif. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:21, 11 September 2007 (UTC). [edit] Fair use disputed for Image:Crfl logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Crfl logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:33, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

It's used to assist in category sorting, so that all the players whose surname begin with Mc are grouped together. Eg. in the [[Category:Celtic F.C. players]], all those "Mc's" who fall under this category begin with "Mac" in the defaultsort. Ck12 (talk) 13:39, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wellington Rugby League
Cheers for the feedback - I pretty much just whipped it up after an insomniac night using bits of pieces of other articles, while adding the new NPC information. As for the Orcas justifying an article - I'd agree with your reasoning, but what happened is I forgot to make the Pumas and Lions pages redirects as well, and their ownership of seperate articles is actually just an oversight on my part :P I'll do that now, especially since there is so little distinct information available on the teams. Should it seem like a good idea in future than all three teams (or even just the Orcas) have their own pages (something you are welcome to suggest if you so wish), we can always revert or edit.
- Actually scrub that - I'll revert the pages. I'd like to see more specific information on teams in those articles with Wellington Rugby League having a brief overview. While this isn't possible with my limited knowledge on the subject, perhaps someone else can contribute. Also, thanks for adding the Hutt Valley franchise, I didn't even know they existed!
As for the draw - I got the Wellington fixtures from this news article, which I actually by chance reading the paper the other day. I placed a reference to this, but since I placed it next to the statement regarding Porirua Park, it's not as obvious (my bad!). Unfortunately there seems to be no other coverage of the NPC, and only the Wellington fixtures seem to be available, but hopefully this'll change as kickoff gets closer.

[edit] Canterbury Rugby League
Just wanted to mention that you've done a great job with the CRL page. It's got plenty of good content - the Glory Years section adds a lot to it rather than it just being a page of stats and lists like BoPRL and TRL are at this point, and the NPC information is very useful as I've had a bit of trouble finding anything out about it online! Hopefully we'll be able to get a fixture list soon, I'll let you know as soon as I find one. Keep up the good work! Gialloneri (talk) 23:39, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
