[edit] License tagging for Image:ELeerhsen.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:ELeerhsen.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Hello, about your recent edits
Hi. I stumbled across your edit here, and noticed the threat in the edit summary. I don't think you are an admin, and only they can block. Moreover, using threats to get your way is not generally considered acceptable here. Also, looking at the history of that page, you and the other person may be close to violating the three revert rule. May I suggest you look into dispute resolution? ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 22:02, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
-Hi. No, I'm an admin, I wanted to say taht I'm gonna report him if he continues with putting Leatherface's name first because he isn't the main character, nor does he have the most-screentime. But anyways sorry, thanks for giving me those rules.
Matt
- About your recent edits to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie articles, your reverts are false. Just exactly what is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre about? It's about Leatherface going on a killing spree. Leatherface is the main character. I am not the only one who agrees with this statement as CyberGhostface has reverted you a few times also. Also, when you sign your comments, put four tildes (~~~~) to sign it. Thanks. —mikedk9109SIGN 22:13, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, but just because you and that CyberGhostFace think leatherface is the main character isn't my problem. Look the IMDb or better -- watch the movies again and you'll see the he isn't the "main" character. Hell, he doesn't even have the most screen-time in the movies. And no, TCM isn't about Leatherface, it is about the HEWITTS and THER killing spree.
Matt
- Oh so wait, your saying that IMDb is a reliable source? Not on Wiki it isn't. What is The Beginning about? It's about how Leatherface came to be who he is. The movies are about Leatherface and his family, but Leather is the main character. —mikedk9109SIGN 22:43, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- If the movies weren't about Leatherface and just the crazy family, how come Leatherface is the only constant character in ALL the films where the family always changes? How come he's ALWAYS the most prominently displayed on advertising and posters? How come he is one of the few characters (along with Hoyt if you want to count the Beginning) who had his background and history explored? Leatherface has ALWAYS been the main antagonist in the franchise. He's the only constant. Everything else is fair game.--CyberGhostface 23:57, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Oh, so you are saying he's the main character jus because he's apearred in all movies?? So what! Aliens have appeared in all Alien movies, but does that make them main characters?? No. Michael Myers has appeared in all Halloweem movies (except the third one), but does that make him the main character? No -- Jamie Lee Curtis is (well, at least in 1, 2 and H20). And you are saying that he should get the top credit just because he has apperead in all movies?? Let me tell you something - watch 2003 and The:Beginning again and go to the end credits of the movie and see where Leatherface is credited -- yeah that's right, on the 7TH place. Even in the Beginning, where it was about "him", he didn't have the most screen-time nor was he top credited. Sorry, but you shoudl realyl read Wiki rules for movie credits -- they MUST be the same as they are in the end credits of the chaotic movies. In The Remake Leatherface was the 7th one credited, in The Beginning the 6th one, and that's exactly how he WILL be credited here.
MattTyler
- Hey, first, can you learn how to type so I can understand what you're saying? And where are these so called "Wiki movie credit rules"? If you show them to me, I'd gladly put him in the place you want him to be. —mikedk9109SIGN 16:59, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Same here. If you can site an actual page which tells us these rules I'll agree.--CyberGhostface 17:09, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- I know how to type, I just didn't to waste my time on the two of you, so I quickly wrote this. Anyways, I don't know where the rules are at the moment, just go at Wiki rules, and search for movie rules, you'll find it there.
MattTyler
- There is no place to search for "Wiki rules". You've made these up, and until they are proven true or false, it should stay the way it originally was. —mikedk9109SIGN 17:30, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
You know what, you're really giving me a headache. Leatherface is credited 7th in The Remake and 6th in The Prequel in the end credits, and that's how it should be credited here. Continue with messing that at Wikipedia and I'm gonna report you, and guess on which side the admins will be??

[edit] Wrong Turn 2
"rvv, it will be sourced as soon as I found the sources" is not good grounds for an edit. Moreover, your edit is reinstating all sorts of formatting and style errors. Please stop. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 18:24, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- You made a series of edits with no explanation, not even the courtesy of edit summaries, and with no sources. Why are you surprised that they were reverted? --Mel Etitis (Talk) 12:53, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:ErLeerhsen.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:ErLeerhsen.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:07, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:The Warrior Class.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:The Warrior Class.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:39, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
