One guideline you will soon encounter is that Wikipedia is not a dictionary. So some will question whether or not door stop (for example) can be expanded into a legitmate article. I'm not taking a position on this, but if consensus is that it will never be more than a definition, someone will probably move it to the Wiktionary.
