A variety of music video games have made use of guitar peripherals to simulate the performing of rock music. Some controllers are compatible with different software not originally packaged with the guitar. The following table refers only to official guitar controllers as bundled with the games or supplied by the same manufacturer as the bundled controller.[1][2][3][4][5]
