[edit] Interests

  • Space
I hope to be an aerospace/aeronautical engineer.
  • Chemistry
My second career choice, if I can't become an engineer (although I will be incredibly distraught if I cannot find a chemistry career involving space).
  • Math
  • Reading
My favorite authors: Dante Alighieri, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Madeleine L'Engle, and everyone in-between.

I am in the 10th grade, and I take French at school (yes, yes, my last name is French. But I don't speak it fluently). I enjoy Rubik's Cubes, Lego/K'Nex models, as well as plastic-and-glue models. I am also quite adept at puzzles of any kind (although I particularly enjoy the 3-D ones).

But my passion: space.
I've followed the space shuttle program for as long as I was aware of its existence. I was sorely disappointed to find out that the Apollo program had been canceled 30 years before I was even born, but now I am eagerly anticipating the beginning of the Orion missions.
It is in the Orion program that I now shift my focus. I intensely watch for any news regarding any of its components.
