[edit] Matsudaira Muneakira
I removed the following from the article because
- Munehide's father, Matsudaira Muneakira, had also been Kyoto shoshidai (1828-1832) ...?
It was inconsistent with the list of Kyoto shoshidai at the University of Tübingen website on which I relied:
- Mizuno Tadakuni (水野忠邦), 1794-1851 -- Kyoto shoshidai: December 21, 1826- December 28, 1828
- Matsudaira Sukemoto (松平資始) -- Kyoto shoshidai: December 28,1828 - July 4, 1831 ...?
- Ōta Suketomo (太田資始), 1799-1867 -- Kyoto shoshidai: July 4, 1831 - May 19, 1834 ...?
There is another small question -- plausibly related
- Matsudaira Muneakira (1828-1832)
- Ōta Sukemoto (1832-1834)←← Could this be Ōta Suketomo, rather than Sukemoto?<:ref>Hall, John. The Cambridge History of Japan, p. 142.</ref>
This can be easily restored, of course, if it can only be verified. --Tenmei (talk) 18:22, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
