[edit] Merge?

There is a note up on this page suggesting a merge with the Juana Barraza entry so I thought I'd kick off the discussion and this seems the right place for it.

I'd suggest such a merge is premature. This has the whiff of the Son of Sam although I see that has been merged with the David Berkowitz entry so that might be a precedent to support a merging. Anyway as there is a missing accomplice and she can only be linked with 30-60 murders there is plenty of room for other candidates to emerge especially with her links to the Saint Death cult. If her defence lawyer has any sense they'd certainly suggest some wider conspiracy. It is almost inevitable that some of these crimes will be from copycats or more than one killer getting lumped together although it is doubtful if this issue will be fully resolved one way or the other.

So I'd say wait and see - the trial hasn't even started yet. ;) (Emperor 01:40, 21 February 2006 (UTC))

Agreed 100%. I'd say we hold the merge for a while until Mexico City's police comes up with a creative way to link Juana Barraza to all murders ;-) -- Rune Welsh | ταλκ 03:14, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
