Matthews Sportsplex

The Matthews Sportsplex is a proposed 13 field sports complex in Matthews, North Carolina. The centerpeice of the complex will be a 6,000-seat (expandable to 10,000) soccer-specific stadium that will be used by the Charlotte Eagles, Charlotte's United Soccer Leagues Second Division team.

The complex is now in the development stage, it will be situated on "the outer belt", I-485.
