Matthew White Ridley, 2nd Viscount Ridley

Sir Matthew White Ridley, 2nd Viscount Ridley (b. 6 December 1874 - d. 14 February 1916) was the son and heir of Sir Matthew White Ridley, 1st Viscount Ridley and the Hon. Mary Georgiana Marjoribanks (1850 - d. 14 March 1909). He was elected Conservative Member of Parliament for Stalybridge at the 1900 General Election and vacated the seat on succeeding to his father's peerage in 1904.
He married Rosamond Cornelia Gwladys Guest (b. 18?? - d. 2 December 1947), daughter of Sir Ivor Bertie Guest, 1st Baron Wimborne of Canford Magna and Lady Cornelia Henrietta Maria Spencer-Churchill, on 8 February 1899.
The 2nd Viscount Ridley died on 14 February 1916, aged 41.
