Matthew Walker (born August 12, 1969) is an American film and television actor and a television director.

[edit] Early life
Walker was born Matthew Douglas Walker in Santa Monica, California of remote Scottish-American and Swiss descent.[1] Walker has 2 sisters, and lived in Windsor Heights which was located in Polk County, Iowa.
[edit] Acting career
Walker's acting career began when he was 17, and had appeared in a Disney Movie of the Week in 1986. At 19 he was cast as a series regular on the ABC drama Supercarrier starring Wendie Malick, Paul Gleason and Richard Jaeckel. Co-starring roles soon followed in the feature films, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers and Child's Play 3 and established Matt in the horror movie sequel genre.
Bouncing around Hollywood as a young man, Matt has worked with a number of such notable actors as Kate Hudson, Melanie Griffith, John Goodman, Lea Thompson, Andy Dick, Tony Danza, Martin Mull, Donald Pleasance, Wilford Brimley, John Ritter, and the great George C. Scott, and such directors as Tobe Hooper, James Burrows, and Garry Marshall to name drop a few.
From 1995 to the 2000s, Walker has worked in movies and television series, and is even most notable for founding the theatre Troubadour Theater Company.
