Matthew Thiessen and the Earthquakes is a solo piano project that was started in 1998 by Matt Thiessen, lead singer and songwriter of the Christian rock band Relient K. He currently has seven songs out, three of the most recent of which can be found on Mono Vs Stereo's My Other Band, Vol. 1. Matt Thiessen has stated that one day, he hopes to release a full-length record for the side project.
