Matthew "Matt" Somner (born December 8, 1982 in London, England) is a Welsh footballer, currently playing for Notts County.
Whilst playing for Brentford he suffered harsh abuse from the supporters as they exclaimed that he had the incapability to stop himself moving backwards whilst defending; therefore giving attackers good goal-scoring opportunities.
