Matthew Mitcham

Matthew Mitcham (born 2 March 1988, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian Olympic diver. He is noted for being the first Australian to go to the Olympic Games as openly gay. [1]
Mitcham is competing in the 10-metre platform event at the Beijing Olympics and won gold in the 2008 World Cup of Diving meet at Fort Lauderdale. [2] Mitcham is coached by Chava Sobrino.
