Matthew Linville

Matthew Linville (born April 1, 1983 in Ventura County, California) is perhaps best known for portraying the lovable and sometimes aloof Jimmy Moon on the Warner Bros. family drama of 7th Heaven.

The early storyline concerning Jimmy Moon revolved around his being Lucy Camden's first boyfriend, played by Beverly Mitchell. Jimmy Moon loved French foreign films and brought one to the Camden's for his first date with Lucy. Eventually, the two young beaus drifted apart, but Jimmy Moon entered the picture once again, when a love triangle between himself, Lucy, and proverbial California Surfer dude Rod, played by Toran Caudell. Later when Lucy has been summoned to do jury duty, we see Jimmy Moon is the person who did the crime.
