Matthew Halischuk (born June 1, 1988 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is an ice hockey right winger. He plays in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for the Kitchener Rangers. Previously he played for the Toronto St. Michael's Majors of the OHL and the St. Michael's Buzzers of the Ontario Provisional Junior Hockey League.
He was selected to Team Canada's under-20 team for the 2008 IIHF World U20 Championship.[1] At the U20 Championship he scored the game-winning-goal in overtime of the gold medal game.[2]
