Matthew Gilks (born June 4, 1982 in Rochdale, England) is an English footballer, currently playing for Football League Championship side Norwich City. He is a goalkeeper.
Gilks started his career at Rochdale, signing from their youth team in March 2000. He replaced Neil Edwards in Rochdale's first-team and was a regular starter after that. In summer 2007 Gilks signed a 2-year contract with Championship side Norwich City, moving on a free transfer due to his contract with Rochdale having expired.[1]
