Matthew Buckley is a British actor, best known for playing Martin Miller in the BBC school drama Grange Hill from 2001 to 2007.
On screen, Martin suffers from Asperger's Syndrome, a form of autism. Since 2001 viewers have seen Martin progress through the school while being diagnosed with, then coming to terms with, his condition while also confronted with the usual trials of teenage life. Matthew has worked with the National Autistic Society to promote awareness of the condition.
Matthew is currently studying Physiotherapy at Manchester University. [1]
