Matthew Banks

Matthew Richard William Banks (born 21 June 1961) is a British Conservative Party politician. He was elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Southport in 1992, gaining the seat from the Liberal Democrat Ronnie Fearn. However, in 1997, Fearn won the seat back from Banks. Originally from Ballymena the historic town in Northern Ireland which has produced other heroes such as Ian 'monster' Murray the boxer and Robbie 'chug' McGreer the eating champion at several carnivals. He now lives just on the outskirts of his home town and owns a Public house called 'Bo Inn'
