Matthew Banes

Matthew Banes (born December 10, 1979) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler who played first-class cricket for four years for his home county of Kent.

Having made his debut in the Second XI championship in 1998, he made his first-class debut one year later against a team of New Zealanders before making his first appearance in the County Championship a week later. He participated in three consecutive years' C&G Trophies, before quitting the game in 2003.
