Matteo Paro (born 17 March 1983 in Asti) is an Italian footballer. As of 2007 plays for Genoa. He made his Serie A debut in 17 May 2003, losing to Reggina 1-2.
Paro was sold to Chievo in July 2003 (with Sculli & Gastaldello) as part of the deal of the Nicola Legrottaglie transfer. In 2005, Juventus bought back all three, and sold Paro & Gastaldello to Siena.
In 2006, Juventus relegated to Serie B, and bought back Paro's 50% rights from Siena. He also holds the distinction of scoring Juventus' first ever Serie B goal, during Juventus' 1-1 draw with Rimini on September 9, 2006.
