The Mattagami First Nation is an Anishnaabe First Nation in the Canadian province of Ontario. They live primarily on the Mattagami 71 reserve in the Sudbury District near Gogama, which has an on-reserve population of approximately 100 residents.
The current chief of the Mattagami First Nation is Walter Naveau. Mattagami is part of the Nishnawbe-Aski Nation's Wabun Tribal Council, and is part of the Treaty 9 area.
The reserve has its own elementary school, while high school students are bused to Timmins.
