Matt Webb (born 20 April 1987 in Cambridge) is an actor, journalist, radio presenter and television presenter. He is most well-known for his role as Stephen Dudlow; in the soap-opera Brookside. He is the youngest person in Cambridge-radio history to have a direct programming role in a radio station, this was at the age of 16.

Webb was born in Cambridge, on 20th April 1987. He is a journalist, actor, radio presenter and television presenter. He graduated from College in 2005 with a BTEC National Diploma in Media (Radio and TV Broadcasting). He attended the Netherhall School in Cambridge from 1998-2003.

He is most notably famous for his starring role as Stephen Dudlow in the Channel 4 soap-opera Brookside in 1997 (aged 10 years). Stephen Dudlow only appeared in two episodes and was only a visitor to his estranged mother Marie Dudlow in the soap, although had a large role in these episodes. Matthew has also appeared on the BBC Two game-show "Subzero" in 2001, in which he and 2 of his friends won the series and a Digital Camera. Matt has also been seen presenting on some Quiz TV Channels in 2007.

Matt is now a radio presenter and newsreader (and has been for several years) in Cambridge. He has appeared on many local stations in the city, and is most fondly known for his regular appearances on RSL stations in the area. He now has a permanent home on a local station in the City.

It has been rumoured that Webb is to return to acting in 2008, in a role in BBC One Soap Opera "EastEnders". This has not been confirmed by Webb and could just be speculation.

  • Matt has presented on several different radio stations in the Cambridge area.
  • When presenting on the radio, he has a tendency to mention station name and contact details over and over again.
  • He was station manager, programme controller and a presenter for Cambridge's 87.7 Flava FM at the young age of 19.
  • He was a production assistant at Star 107 Radio Station.
  • An outtake from Brookside starring Matthew aired on TV's Naughtiest Blunders in 2003.
