Matt Walsh (born December 2, 1982 in Holland, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player who played with the NBA's Miami Heat. The 6' 6" forward originally signed as an undrafted free agent from the University of Florida with the Heat. He was waived on November 18, 2005, playing one regular season contest. In the 2006 preseason, he was signed by the New Jersey Nets and released in October.

In 2006/07, Walsh played with Olympia Larissa BC in Greece, having a successful year for both the team and himself. He was considered as one of the most valuable players of the Greek championship A1, and was the second best scorer of the competition averaging 17.75 points per game.[1]

He played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Summer League in 2007 and later signed a one-year contract with Ricoh Manresa of the Spanish ACB.[2] Walsh signed on to finish the 2007-2008 season with Spirou Charleroi in Belgium, where he played alongside former Gator Justin Hamilton. Walsh has received MVP awards in both the Spanish ACB league and Belgium league just in the 2007-2008 season.

He is currently dating Playboy playmate Lauren Anderson,[1][3] another former University of Florida alumn.
