Matthew Thompson (born 1984) is an Australian radio legendary presenter and sports journalist. He is a reporter on Melbourne sports radio station SEN 1116.

Thompson presented the late 2005 show Sunday Sportscentre with Robert Shaw and Daniel Harford.

On weekends, Matt hosts SEN's 'grandstand' style sports program.

He is often noted for his bumbling reports and inability to meet girls. Saturday host Mark Allen often ribs him for it.

Also writes bogus stories.
