Matt Smith was an early guitarist for the band Paris that would later turn into glam band Poison. He played on several early demos, and was then replaced by guitarist C. C. DeVille. Matt Smith co-wrote several songs on Poison's Look What the Cat Dragged In, although C.C. Deville was the guitarist on that album.
Some of the more well known Poison demos he played on include 'Rock Like A Rocker', Steal Away The Night', 'Razor's Edge' and 'Talkin Loud, none however were included on the first album.
The band Hardline's song 'Face The Night' from their second album 'II' is about Smith.
Smith now resides in Linglestown,PA is married and has two children Steven and Katie.
