Matt Skilbeck was a fictional character on ITV's Emmerdale from 1972-1989. He was played by Frederick Pyne.
Matt was married firstly to Peggy, Annie Sugden's daughter then after her death to Woolpack barmaid Dolly Acaster. After the failure of his 2nd marriage, Matt left the village to run a farm in Norfolk.
