Matt Rua

Matt Rua (born July 20, 1977 in New Zealand) is a rugby league player. He has previously played NRL for the Melbourne Storm and represented New Zealand. He is involved with the Cook Islands national team and has played for the Central Comets in the Queensland Cup in 2006 after a stint with the Waitakere Rangers earlier that year. Has been signed for 2007 by Melbourne Storm. He returned to the starting line-up for the first time since 2002 in Melbourne's round 13 win over the New Zealand Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland.
