From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Matthew Brian (Matt) Othick (born March 16, 1969, in Clovis, New Mexico) is a retired American professional basketball player. He had a brief stint with the NBA's San Antonio Spurs in 1992, playing four games. Othick, a 6'2" (1.88 m) 165 lb (75 kg) point guard, played collegiately at the University of Arizona from 1989 to 1992.[1]

He also played with the Yakima Sun Kings in the CBA in 1998.[2]

Othick is now a Las Vegas[2] and Del Mar, California-based land broker[2]/investor.[1]

It was reported in 2006 that Othick was part of group that was developing a film based on the life of his former high school and college teammate, the late Bison Dele (then known as Brian Williams), who presumably died during a boat trip in 2002.[1]
