Matthew Jarrid Murphy (born February 23, 1980 in New Haven, Michigan) is an American football offensive tackle and tight end for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at Maryland.
Murphy has also been a member of the Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks in his career.

Murphy attended New Haven High School in New Haven, Michigan and was a student and a letterman in football. In football, he was named as an All-Metropolitan selection by the Detroit Free Press. Matthew Murphy graduated from New Haven High School in 1998.
