Matthew Taylor McCoy (born 19 July 1985) is a songwriter, worship leader and a Christian musician. His latest studio album "Raise the Flag Again" was released on March 27, 2008 with Radiant Records. Currently serving as the worship pastor for Student Ministries and Young Adults at the Vineyard Community Church, Matt has written many songs being sung by churches today, such as "What If", "Revelation Generation", "You Are My Treasure", "It's Your Kindness" and "No One Else". He is involved wih Vineyard Music USA.

Since 2001, Matt has been traveling and leading worship for many christian youth conferences, retreats, camps and other events. Matt leads worship for the three major regional Vineyard youth conferences such as Summer of Service, Cloud 9, and Walking It Out.

Over the summer of 2007, Matt shared the stage with artists Sanctus Real, Jeremy Riddle, John Reuben, and Julie Nickel. He has also shared the stage with artists Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Delirious and Vicky Beeching.

In 2005, Matt's song "My Everything" hit radio and topped independent charts. He was a featured artist on ShareSong for months and his songs are climbing in rank. During this time he participated in many radio interviews, podcast interviews, and magazine interviews.

He released his first solo project in 2006, "Walking It Out", which was later followed by another EP, "Arise". In early 2007, he made his first debut with Vineyard Music Group on the Club 62 project. Early 2008, Matt's song "One Thing" was released on Vineyard Music Club 63, "Brighter Day".

Currently Matt lives in Cincinnati, Ohio and is attending the University of Cincinnati. He will be graduating June of 2008. He currently serves as the Worship Director of Vineyard Student Union, at the Vineyard Community Church.

Matt and musical companion, Zak Stegman, are currently working on an acoustic project, filled with original music. It is slated for release early this summer.

Matt has been known to play an instrument known as a theramin in his sets.
