Matt Lee is a well known Australian dance prodigy [1], dance teacher and choreographer.

He graduated from Newtown high School of Performing Arts in Sydney. He has been in many musical productions, which include Miss Saigon, "The Witches of Eastwick", "Oh! What a Night", "Rent" and The Boy From Oz, starring fellow Australian Hugh Jackman. He has also performed in "Happy Days - The Arena Spectacular", "Grease - The Arena Spectacular" and "Hot Shoe Shuffle".

Matt has recently appeared as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance Australia, alongside fellow judges Jason Coleman and Bonnie Lythgoe. He is often recognized for his trademark of wearing a hat on the show.


Matt has had film appearances in "Bootmen" as Johnno and in "Scooby-Doo" as a dancer, and played the dance lead in an Oscar winning film Happy Feet.

Matt has choreographed famous artists including Marcia Hines, Guy Sebastian, Christine Anu, and Human Nature.
