Matt Knudsen (born March 10, 1957, in Raleigh, North Carolina) is an American actor and boom operator. He is best known for playing the villain Sonny Appleday in the TV film Re-Animated and Out Of Jimmy's Head.

Knudsen was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and grew up in the Midwestern United States. He graduated from high school in Southern California. After one semester in college, he became a merchant marine and spent 5 years traveling to ports in Europe, Africa, Central America and the Far East. He moved to Los Angeles, California and started his entertainment career.[1]

Knudsen became an actor by performing stand up comedy and working in community plays. He performed stand up comedy at comedy spots like The Improv and The Comedy Store. He also performed at The Laugh Factory, The Icehouse, Stand Up New York, The Comic Strip and The Boston Comedy Club. He competed in the Orange County's Funniest Person Contest in 2006.[2]

He performs in comedy, dancing, singing, voice-over, stunts and host.
